Wow. It's been a long time since my last post. Recently I made another sale on my etsy shop, for a total of 4. I've been working on some new ideas, but that sure does take a lot of time. Pinterest gave me an idea for a toddler skirt and I posted a picture of those on facebook and sold 5 to some people from my church, but that doesn't show on my etsy sales.

I've also been working on making these flowers, like the 4rth of July one. They are so cute. I made this flower into a headband for a newborn. It turned out really cute. Cloth diapering has also become a new thing for me as I've worked at putting my son completely in cloth lately. Then I discovered the Babyville Boutique cloth diaper book. fabric, and supplies at our local Hobby Lobby, now I'm learning how to make my own diapers and save some money there.

The boys are finnaly asleep and my computer is agreeing to let me put pictures up of the quilt I'm making. I have almost four squares down now...it takes a lot of time to work on this and I'm almost out of the gold fabric. Hopefully it will be done before too long. Then to paint the bedroom to match and make matching pillow cases and a curtain.

something new

I've been working on something for me lately. I don't do that much and am really wanting a new quilt for my bed, it's a big task to take on since I have never made a queen size quilt before but can't wait to see the final project. I'll have to add a picture at a later point when I have a little more done. Recently I added a few more grab 'n go diaper bags to the shop and also a crayon roll and as I try to add those photos my computer isn't agreeing with the process which makes it a little difficult. I was added to pinterest recently and have many new ideas to try out, hopefully some will come in the next few weeks. Until then, keep quilting.

Grab 'n Go Diaper Bags

Finished another bag tonight. It's an "under construction" theme bag, super cute for those little boys out there. I have another red polka dot one coming, just have to run to the store and get some buttons and matching ribbon for them. This week I'm going to focus on my photos for my shop and get some better ones taken and posted.

Though I would show how my wall hanging turned out. It still has to be quilting and needs the binding but i'm still deciding how to quilt it. There are a few things that don't line up as well as I would like but for the most part it looks good.

Today I decided to sew something that I haven't done in a while: a quilt. I found a pattern for a double card trick quilt square that will be a wall hanging when it is done. I chose a pink, purple, and white for the colors although I'm not a big fan of pink. It's coming together nicely. The square is half done so far.
   I'm planning on using it in the fair, if it turns out good. I always have issues with getting triangles to line up properly, but it's looking good so far.
   One more thing, I need color suggestions for the envelope clutch. If you have a suggestion of something you would like to see, send me a message on etsy or leave a comment on here.
   A burp cloth will be coming out later this week as well.
